Airalo sells travel eSIM packages for more than 200 destinations, with local, regional and global options. Its catalog describes destinations or locations; that does not mean every package covers every country or that signal is guaranteed everywhere within a country.
An eSIM is a downloadable mobile-network profile. You purchase a package, install its profile on a compatible phone and select it for data. There is no physical card to collect, but compatibility, carrier lock and coverage still matter.
Your referral code

Choose coverage, not just a headline
Local packages target one destination. Regional packages cover an explicit list of destinations, and global options cover a broader list. Compare that list against every stop on your itinerary, including transit destinations where you want mobile access.
Many travel packages are data-only, so do not assume a local number, ordinary calls or SMS are included. Some products have different inclusions. Internet messaging generally uses data, while calls or messages on your home SIM can still create home-carrier charges.

Install in a few considered steps
- Verify eSIM support and that your exact phone is unlocked. Check before purchasing, not after arrival.
- Buy the package directly from Airalo and save the installation instructions offline.
- Use stable Wi-Fi to add the eSIM through the supported app, QR or manual method.
- Label the profile clearly, for example “Travel data”, so it is easy to distinguish from your home line.
- Follow the package’s activation instructions. At the destination, choose the travel line for mobile data and enable data roaming on it if instructed.
- Disable data roaming and automatic data switching on your home SIM to reduce accidental data charges. Voice and SMS roaming are separate.
If you cannot connect
Confirm that the destination is included, the plan is active, data remains and the correct SIM is selected. Check the provider’s roaming and APN instructions, then toggle airplane mode or restart if appropriate. Some plans allow choosing a listed network manually.
Do not delete a failing eSIM without contacting support; a QR code or profile may not be reinstallable. Keep the order reference available and contact Airalo through its official help channels. DreamReferral cannot reset a profile or issue refunds.
